This quarterly series of tri-state YP meetings is dedicated to connecting young and new professionals across CSWEA’s tri-state area. The meetings will be a chance to connect with fellow young professionals, find out about CSWEA events and participation opportunities, and learn professional skills and strategies.

The January meeting will include a presentation to go over tips and tricks to improve use of programs we use every day like Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Event Details

The U.S. Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) was founded in 1997 by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) to complement the Stockholm Water Prize. The SJWP is the world’s most prestigious award presented to a high school student for a water-research project.

Since the prize’s inception, WEF has conducted the U.S. SJWP to send a national winner to the international competition.

Eligibility:
High school students (grades 9–12)
Must be 15 years or older by August 1, 2025
Have a completed water-research project

Why Enter?
Participate in your state’s SJWP competition
Earn the opportunity to represent the U.S. at the international finals in Stockholm, Sweden
Be celebrated for advancing innovation in water science

Deadline: Submit your project by April 15, 2025, to join this prestigious competition.
