Join the Minnesota Stormwater Committee as we tour stormwater and watershed improvements along Bassett Creek. You’ll participate in a guided 1-mile walk in the largest and wildest park in Minneapolis.
The tour will start at Utepils Brewery. Following the tour, at 5:00 p.m., we will enjoy a happy hour at the Utepils biergarten along the bank of the creek. This event and tour will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) and Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) invite you to the University of Minnesota’s Civil Engineering Building, Room 210 for a screening of Brave Blue World, a feature-length documentary that examines how new technologies and innovations can create a sustainable water future.
As a production partner, the Water Environment Federation and WEF and our members will use the film to raise public awareness about the solutions to water challenges.
WEF has made this film available to demonstrate that there are many opportunities for a rewarding career providing healthful water for people and assuring a healthy water environment for everyone.
After the screening, CSWEA will host a panel discussion featuring local water industry employers. University seniors are especially encouraged to attend.
