The Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award is presented to a corporation and, if applicable, to its engineering firm that best demonstrates significant, lasting, and measurable excellence in water quality improvement or in the prevention of water quality degradation as demonstrated by innovative design and operation of an industrial wastewater, pretreatment or source prevention program.
The CSWEA Industrial Environmental Achievement award winner is annually forwarded on to WEF for consideration as the nominee for the association for the Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award.

Outstanding Achievement in Water Quality Improvement Award
Significant, lasting, and measurable excellence in water quality improvement or in prevention of water quality degradation in a region, basin or water body. The program must lie within the boundaries of member associations.
Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award
Significant, lasting and measurable excellence in water quality improvement or in the prevention of water quality degradation as demonstrated by innovative design and operation of an industrial wastewater, pretreatment or prevention program. Program should be operated by an industry or have significant industrial input. Joint awards between industries and engineering consultants may be made for innovative designs or process alterations or management.
